Sputnika Game follows Sputnik, a little companion aiming to become the Sun, and frames that journey as a casual, strategic planet-merging game. Its Suika-style premise is altered by cosmic gravity: planets behave differently from those in the classic format, giving the puzzle its own spatial challenge rather than relying on matching alone.
The central task is to merge identical planets into larger celestial bodies, with ten planets to discover across the solar system. Players can target the other side of planets, a tactical option that adds depth to deciding where pieces go. There is also a clear failure condition: if a planet pops out of its bubble, the game is over. These rules make placement and gravity central to each attempt.
Alongside its strategy, Sputnika gives its planets expressive personalities, with little gestures such as smiling greetings and curious looks. Its mix of careful positioning, a defined loss condition and animated celestial characters is the distinctive shape of Sputnik’s solar-system quest.
