Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde is an action rogue-lite built around holding out against huge, advancing monster waves. Its combat is designed to be accessible, with passive attacks and abilities doing the fighting as players focus on surviving and shaping a character’s growing power. The pressure comes from the hordes’ continual approach, while each run offers opportunities to collect souls and strengthen a hunter.
Level-ups let players choose abilities and learn how those powers develop, then combine attacks to bring down larger groups. Defeat is not presented as the end of the journey: the Oracle returns hunters to fight again, and souls also feed a permanent upgrade system. That structure links immediate decisions in the field with longer-term progression, giving the game a layered loop beyond simply lasting through a wave.
An expanding roster of unlockable Spirit Hunters and the ability to pair different hunters with varied abilities make combinations central to its design. Its emphasis is on experimenting with builds, mastering abilities and taking another run at the encroaching horde.
