Soda Dungeon frames its fantasy adventure around a tavern and the dungeon nearby. Players use loot brought back by adventurers to improve the tavern and buy new sodas, which attract different classes to hire. That loop gives the game’s humor a practical role: the brews are not just flavor, but part of building a more capable expedition team.
Recruitable characters include Thieves, Knights, Healers, Darkmages and Shifters. Once equipped, the party can tackle classic turn-based RPG combat, or players can switch on Auto-Combat and leave the team questing before returning to collect rewards. This choice between directing battles and letting a run proceed on its own gives Soda Dungeon a flexible play format, with team preparation and tavern management linking each excursion to the next.
The dungeon’s progression moves through new dimensions, with large bosses and ancient soda relics among the rewards and challenges. Goblins, demons, monster lobsters and other enemies populate the premise, while the promise of gold and legendary items supplies a clear reason to keep sending adventurers below.
