Soccertron is a local multiplayer sports game built around a playful, unruly premise: score by kicking the ball, or disrupt opponents by kicking them. Its five fields draw on familiar ball games, including soccer, basketball and volleyball, but the rules are less formal than their inspirations. With no referee and no ban on treacherous tactics, matches lean into friendly rivalry and quick, chaotic exchanges.
Each arena gives that premise a different twist. Soccertron is a futuristic soccer-like contest, while Shrinkotron lets players shrink an opponent’s goal. Basketron brings neon-lit basketball, Volleytron challenges players to keep the ball off their own field, and Pittron adds holes and a risk of falling. A tournament settles competition over a best-of-five set, and competitive bots can fill defensive, attacking or all-around roles. Solo play against a bot is also supported, though the game is framed especially for friends sharing a couch.
