On Isla Trueno, an aggressive military command has toppled the democratic government, and a special operations unit is sent to support the rebels. Sniper: Ghost Warrior casts players as an elite sniper whose skill set extends beyond pulling the trigger: stalking, spotting targets and conducting surveillance all help determine whether missions succeed. That premise gives the game’s covert assignments a clear purpose, while its varied terrain and assault scenarios widen the conflict beyond isolated shots.
Its ballistic model makes precision a matter of reading conditions as well as aiming. Bullet trajectory and drop are accounted for, while wind, fog and rain affect shots; managing breathing can also improve accuracy. Bullet Cam follows a successful shot, and the available rifles include the AS50, MSG90, SR25 and SVD Dragunov. The campaign’s mission designs span sniper-versus-sniper elimination, tactical assaults and fixed-machine-gun combat, with players taking the roles of both sniper and spotter.
The store lists both single-player and multiplayer, so Sniper: Ghost Warrior combines solo mission play with a multiplayer component.
