Slapshot: Rebound is an arcade-style hockey game built around three-on-three multiplayer. Its physics-based play puts control of the puck at the center of each match: there is no shoot button, puck glue, or random-number-driven outcome. Players instead need to handle the puck, pass, shoot and outplay their opponents as a team, making coordination part of the game’s central challenge.
The format extends beyond standard matchmaking. Players can enter alone, as a duo or as a trio, while custom games support groups of up to twelve. Training modes cover different aspects of play and let players chase improved personal high scores; a leaderboard and leagues give competitive players other ways to test themselves.
For a less match-focused setting, The Pond is an online hangout where players can roam, practice passing, use training areas, play air hockey or try a sumo minigame. It can also be joined while waiting for matchmaking. Cosmetic options let players customize their Slapatar, with items available through purchase, gameplay and events. Taken together, Slapshot: Rebound pairs direct, physics-led hockey with competitive modes, practice and social play.
