School Labyrinth begins with children sneaking into a school at night to test their courage, only to find themselves trapped inside. The familiar building has become an unsettling place of eerie footsteps and a disturbing presence, setting up a horror premise built around uncertainty as much as escape.
Its labyrinth changes shape with each play, and finding an emergency exit is the stated route out. Players can split up to search, but the game warns against getting lost alone. That choice gives exploration a tense social edge: cooperation can cover more ground, while separation puts each player farther from their friends. The suspected presence also complicates trust, raising the question of whether someone nearby is really a companion.
The game supports one to four players, with online co-op for groups of up to four, alongside a single-player category. Its distinctive design pairs randomized maze layouts with a group survival scenario in which navigation and uncertainty are closely linked.
