In Satellite Repairman, interplanetary conflict arrives as incoming missile threats, while your role is less frontline fighter than keeper of the infrastructure that can answer them. You manage a network of satellites so your planet can defend itself, with the added responsibility of keeping GPS and cellular signals operating. That combination gives the premise an unusual focus: communications and defense are parts of the same planetary management problem.
The work is hands-on and strategic. Repair and upgrade satellites, research technology, then order and deploy satellites, buildings, and plug-in modules to shape a defense. The Research Center unlocks further satellite modules and defense systems, while attacks give the preparations a survival purpose. The game sets this task across three planets, each presenting its own challenges, so the same broad job is framed by distinct planetary conditions.
Its play format spans goal-oriented Mission Scenarios, wave-based Endless Survival, and Sandbox mode for creating personal challenges. The central appeal is the careful balancing of infrastructure, research, and defensive deployment, rather than direct combat as a conventional soldier.
