On the fallen planet Sophie, survival depends on a custom-built walking mech called a Trampler. Players cross procedurally generated dunes, scavenge abandoned places for supplies, and try to extract with their loot, vehicle, and lives intact. That extraction goal gives each expedition a clear tension: riches matter only if a raider makes it back to safety.
Tramplers are more than transport. Their modular construction lets players shape them into fortified strongholds, heavily armed machines, or smaller, stealthier builds. Expeditions can be tackled solo or with a crew, while threats include supernatural Upiors and rival scavengers. Players may fight or talk their way through encounters, making other raiders an unpredictable part of the journey rather than a simple combat target.
The game offers distinct ways to approach its world: Voyage Mode supports testing builds and scavenging lower-tier items at a measured pace, while Storm Dive raises the stakes with higher-tier loot and sandstorms that gradually engulf the region.
