SAND LAND casts players as Beelzebub, the Fiend Prince, on a search for the Legendary Spring in a world where humans and demons face an extreme water shortage. Sheriff Rao and Thief join the journey, which reaches beyond the desert into Forest Land. The action-RPG frames its journey around a colorful contrast between arid canyons and a greener, unfamiliar realm, with dangerous wildlife, bandits, and Army Generals standing in the way.
Vehicles are central to getting around and meeting those threats. Players can combine parts to build and upgrade machines, including cannon-equipped Battle Tanks, speedy Motorbikes, and Jump-Bots for crossing rivers. Beelzebub’s demonic powers and fighting abilities can also be developed to suit a preferred playstyle, while Rao and Thief have their own attacks. The design pairs character combat with vehicle customization, including paint and decals, rather than treating machines as mere scenery.
There is also a home base to develop: bringing people back to Spino helps the city grow, and residents’ requests can unlock materials and city features. That blend of exploration, combat, vehicle building, and settlement growth gives the game a broad single-player adventure format.
