Sackboy: A Big Adventure casts its knitted hero as Craftworld’s defender after the villainous Vex kidnaps Sackboy’s friends and forces them to build a device meant to twist the imaginative world into a nightmare. The story frames the journey as a race against time, with Sackboy taking on the role of a Knitted Knight to rescue the sack-folk and stop Vex.
The adventure is built around hand-crafted platforming stages, where Sackboy uses a varied move-set to tackle challenges, enemies and surprises across snow-covered mountains, jungles, underwater regions and space colonies. Its cooperative design adds a social layer: two to four adventurers can team up for local or online party play, solve tasks together, and enter co-op-only levels.
On PC, the store description lists support for keyboard and mouse with rebindable controls, as well as a range of gamepads and wired DualSense features. The game’s focus is not only on reaching the end of a level, but on moving through crafted environments and adapting to varied platforming obstacles. That combination of solo progression and cooperative challenges gives player-count figures context: they reflect activity around a game whose play format can be solitary or shared.
