Ritual of Raven is a single-player, story-based farming sim built around an unusual division of labor: you tend the garden by directing enchanted constructs rather than doing the work yourself. The story begins when an unstable portal drops you into a land where competing magical traditions share space. Apprentice to the witch Sage, you help search for her missing Familiar, Flufferstoop, while working to steady the portals troubling the village.
Its card-based gardening gives the farming loop a distinctly magical character. Collect Arcana Constructs and enchant them to plow, sow, water, and harvest; the game describes a collection of 22 constructs. Beyond tending herbs, you can trade with the village’s outcasts, learn their backstories, and gather ingredients for rituals. Moon phases affect harvests and crystal charging, while a shrine lets you command those phases. The broader routine also includes decorating the farm and village, filling a library, and fishing artifacts from portals.
That blend of garden management, community stories, and portal-focused ritual gives the game a measured, individual-play format rather than a multiplayer-centered one.
