Revenge of the Titans sets a resource-strapped defence against an advancing alien force. After an earlier attack from the skies, the Titans return with ground troops intent on destroying the player’s bases. The campaign spreads this struggle across Earth, the Moon, Mars, Saturn and Titan itself, giving the invasion a solar-system scale.
Its central challenge combines real-time strategy with tower defence. Players mine nearby resources to fund a defensive line, then arrange blaster turrets, barricades, mines, tangleweb and tiny battledroids as thirty-ton monsters close in. Research adds another layer: new technologies and buildings can strengthen the bases, while upgrades support the effort to hold each position. The design makes economy and placement part of the same urgent response to the advancing threat.
Alongside its campaign, the game offers a relaxed Endless mode and a more hectic Survival mode with online hiscores. Its single-player classification also frames the experience as a strategy defence built around individual play.
