Re:Legend begins with an amnesiac castaway washed ashore on Vokka Island, where survival and the search for lost memories shape a new life. Rather than treating exploration as a solitary quest, the game ties rebuilding to the island community: players cultivate land, befriend villagers, and help with their daily needs as they work toward recovering the past.
Its magical Magnus give that routine a distinctive companion-and-creature focus. These creatures can be tamed and raised, and their growth differs according to the player’s decisions. They also support several activities, including combat, farming, fishing, and travel. Alongside tending crops on land, players can grow them underwater and keep exotic fish; dangerous wildlife makes combat another part of life on Ethia. Living skills such as mining, logging, crafting, and farming develop through frequent practice, linking progression to everyday tasks rather than a separate list of challenges.
The format accommodates solo play as well as multiplayer, with co-op options including online and LAN co-op. Friends can carry out activities together and unite in combat against Ethia’s dangerous wildlife, while the single-player category also makes a solo experience part of the game’s design.
