ReignMaker casts the player as the leader of a kingdom facing the invading Void Army, with the fate of its forces tied to match-three play, tower defense, and strategic decisions. Its premise is not just about winning battles: political choices also shape the story and the culture of the kingdom, giving the campaign a leadership-focused thread alongside its tactical challenge.
The design links the capital city to the battlefield. Improving the city opens access to stronger spells, elite troops, and battlefield equipment, while the game lists 50 towers across three continents, 20 spells, 10 troop types, and 12 implements of war. Policy choices span four cultural spectrums: Martial, Druidic, Elemental, and Republic. Quests, achievements, and a Bestiary of enemies add further goals around the central conflict.
Its distinctive mix asks one player to combine match-three skill with defensive planning and political choices, while kingdom development feeds into the resources available for the fight against the Void Army.
