Recette Lemongrass is left running the item shop built into her home after her father disappears, leaving behind a loan to repay. Her new fairy companion, Tear, insists that Recette earn the money, giving the game’s shopkeeping an unusually personal stake: the aim is not simply to fill shelves, but to keep the household from financial ruin. The story also introduces the people of Pensee, grounding the business challenge in a wider cast of characters.
Stock can come from buying goods in town or accompanying an adventurer into the wild to fight monsters for their drops. Back at the shop, Recette chooses what to charge and how to arrange the interior, so acquiring merchandise and selling it are distinct parts of the central loop. Dungeon layouts are randomized, and the available adventurers play differently, adding variety to expeditions without turning the shop into a mere break between battles.
After the main story, Survival Mode offers a challenge, while Endless Mode supports continued play. Those contrasting modes complement the core tension between adventuring for stock, making sales, and meeting Tear’s demand for repayment.
