qop 2 is a single-player puzzle game built around a simple objective: guide a cube to its finish by moving through four directions in space. Its sparse presentation puts the route itself at the center, while the game’s 60 levels provide a sequence of increasingly demanding spatial challenges. FullHD presentation, smooth animation, pleasant music, and an intuitive interface frame that focused puzzle design.
The challenge grows through special cubes with distinct roles: angular cubes, teleport cubes, and lock cubes. These elements add complications to planning a route, while the available controls keep movement straightforward: WASD, arrow keys, an Xbox 360 gamepad, or a Steam Controller. Players can restart a level with R on keyboard or X on controller, making it easy to reconsider a solution when a route goes wrong. A night mode offers another visual option.
Steam achievements and trading cards accompany the core task, but the defining appeal remains working out how to move the cube past unusual obstacles and reach each finish. The game’s color scheme is borrowed from HOOK, and its music is credited to Delone, adding specific touches to an otherwise minimal presentation.
