Promise Mascot Agency is an open-world narrative adventure with a management-simulation streak, set in the strange town of Kaso-Machi. Michi, exiled after an ambush leaves his clan in disarray, tries to uncover what happened while keeping a mascot agency functioning. Its central twist is that mascots are unruly people rather than simple promotional props: each has a distinct personality, and the player must befriend and mentor them while sending them out to work.
Those assignments can go spectacularly wrong, from a mascot getting stuck in a doorway to a kitchen fire. Befriended townspeople can help through Hero Cards, bringing local characters into the agency’s crises. Between management duties, Michi drives an upgradable kei truck around town, using enhancements such as nitro boosts and glider wings to explore, find collectibles and uncover mysteries. The mix of workplace mishaps, character relationships and conspiracy gives the simulation a deliberately eccentric narrative frame.
The game is listed as single-player, so its player-count context is a solo experience that combines agency management with open-world exploration rather than a shared multiplayer session. Its appeal rests on the contrast between unpredictable mascot jobs and a town-wide mystery, with driving and local alliances connecting those strands.
