Set on a devastated future Earth, Project Nimbus casts players as a young ace pilot at the controls of a heavily armed Battle Frame. Its combat is built around high-speed flight with 360-degree freedom, putting missile volleys, cannon fire and close-range blade attacks into the same airborne arsenal. The premise pairs that kinetic action with a conflict among three factions: the CFN, the UCN and the Children of Fallen Nations.
The campaign spans twenty-six missions across settings that include floating cities, ocean fortresses, mountain bases and space. Encounters range from ordinary enemy units to elaborate bosses, including orbiting nuclear mechs, groups of ace pilots and weaponized flying ships. More than a dozen playable Battle Frames bring different combinations of equipment, from energy blades and railguns to floating shields and autonomous psychodrones, giving the game’s combat a broad selection of machines and attack styles.
Beyond the story missions, Survival Mode challenges players to select a frame and withstand endless waves of increasingly powerful enemies. WARFRONT adds six unlimited mission modes, with examples including Base Defense, Interception and Assassination, alongside pilot and Battle Frame customization.
