Professional Farmer: Cattle and Crops is a detailed farming simulation built around the connected jobs of running a farm. Players work fields, harvest crops, care for livestock and manage the food-production cycle. Its focus is not only on operating machinery: crop growth depends on fertilizing with nutrients, while weather affects soil and crops. Machinery leaves tracks in dynamic fields, giving repeated work a visible effect on the landscape.
Fieldwork includes sowing, fertilizing and harvesting, as well as mowing, turning, windrowing and baling grass. Players can handle tasks themselves or assign machines and jobs to workers. The helper system can operate equipment across fields and roads, while a calendar-based planning system supports task management. Detailed vehicle physics, configurable controls and physical handling of square bales make equipment operation a central part of the simulation rather than a backdrop to farm management.
The game offers a career mode, tutorials, scenarios and sandbox play, alongside difficulty settings ranging from arcade-oriented to professional simulation.
