Prime World frames its battles as part of a wider struggle among rival lords for prime, a substance that combines magical and technological power. That conflict gives the game’s RPG and MOBA elements a shared setting: heroes fight over a resource tied to control of the world, while their factions seek to expand their influence.
Its distinctive mix stretches beyond tactical sessions. Players develop heroes through talents and skins, and can improve them in their own castle. In battles, skill combinations shape combat, while activities such as defeating creeps and playing mini-games at the base offer additional ways to upgrade a character. The game also describes several combat modes, with differences between them, rather than a single fixed battle format.
Terramorphing adds a territorial layer: raising a faction’s flag captures land, and a hero becomes more powerful on terrain native to that faction. Clans bring players into the larger contest through shared development, alliances, and battles against other clans.
