Polus.gg is a mod for Among Us that builds on the base game with additional roles and modes. It also describes a revamped account system and new cosmetics as part of its feature set, giving the project a broader scope than a single ruleset change.
Its Town of Polus mode is designed for a heavily modded experience, with dozens of roles that alter what players can do. The Jester tries to convince the crew they are the impostor, the Grenadier can blind crewmates with flashbangs, the Oracle predicts a player’s role, and the Engineer helps maintain the outpost. These abilities offer sharply different ways to influence a round.
For a simpler alternative, Polus.gg also includes Hide and Seek, which the mod presents as straightforward gameplay without many extra frills. This contrast between role-heavy play and a leaner mode is central to its design: players can choose how much additional complexity to bring to Among Us. Polus.gg requires players to own and install Among Us first.
