PNGTuber Plus is lightweight software for customizing 2D PNG vtuber avatars, designed to offer more flexibility while remaining approachable to beginners. Rather than describing a conventional action game, its focus is building and animating an on-screen avatar from image files the user chooses.
Its sprite tools give the avatar movement and expression: sprites can move in sine waves, attach to one another, and trail behind positionally or rotationally. Bounce and jiggle effects add further motion, while individual sprites can be set to appear or disappear in response to speaking or blinking. Images can also be replaced at any time, making the avatar setup adjustable without rebuilding it from scratch.
Saving and sharing avatars gives the software a personal, reusable format, while its tutorial is recommended as a starting point.
