Plain Sight casts players as suicidal ninja robots in a multiplayer arcade game set among planetoids. Players fly through space, leap across the small worlds and attack rivals with katanas. A successful kill steals an opponent’s energy, making the attacker bigger, stronger and faster. That advantage is also a liability: a powerful robot becomes a more tempting target, so simply surviving and growing does not secure a win.
The defining twist is that players must deliberately destroy their own robot to convert its stored energy into points. Turning it into a plasma blast can absorb nearby enemies, with larger detonations rewarded in some modes. Afterward, players can upgrade their robot, respawn and return to the fight. This cycle makes accumulated strength something to cash in at the right moment, rather than a straightforward path to victory.
The game lists five self-destructive modes, including Deathmatch, team play, Capture the Flag and Lighten Up, where the best detonation in a target area wins that round’s points. Robozilla instead brings mini ninjas together against a gargantuan foe, while Weakest Clink adds a shared score bank to team deathmatch.
