Phantom Blade Zero is approaching its planned October launch with PC requirements and purchase options now visible. One detail needs care before anyone books a day off: Steam displays October 28, 2026, while S-GAME's English website displays October 29. Both were checked on October 4, and neither date alone establishes a universal local unlock time.

Soul's Deadline and Combat Arsenal

The Steam listing introduces Soul, a warrior framed for his master's murder and left with sixty-six days to live. S-GAME positions the adventure around Wuxia storytelling and a visual mixture of martial arts and industrial fantasy.

The advertised arsenal exceeds 30 primary weapons and 20 Phantom Edges. Dodging, deflecting and counterattacking are central to the combat description. Those are useful indicators of the intended action, but weapon counts cannot establish how distinct every option will feel over a full campaign.

Likewise, the story's sixty-six-day premise should not be casually converted into a claim about a real-time campaign timer. Narrative urgency and a mechanically enforced deadline are different design decisions.

Read the Performance Targets With Their Conditions

Steam lists 16GB RAM and an SSD requirement. Its minimum target is 1080p at 30 FPS with upscaling enabled; the recommended target is 1440p at 60 FPS, also with upscaling. The listing additionally discloses Denuvo DRM.

The upscaling condition belongs beside those numbers, not buried beneath them. A target resolution describes the output, and should not be repeated as a native-resolution benchmark. Requirements are also publisher guidance rather than measurements from a particular laptop, desktop or graphics preset.

Preorder Rewards and Launch Planning

S-GAME's own preorder page lists the Treasure Basin accessory and Legacy outfit as early unlocks obtainable through progression. That makes the reward an earlier route to content, not evidence that either item disappears for players who buy later.

The same page lists digital art and music among the Deluxe Edition contents. Decide whether those extras are valuable separately from the question of how the game runs. Neither an edition upgrade nor a preorder resolves the need for PC performance evidence.

For now, plan around a late-October release and check the unlock information shown for your own Steam account closer to launch. The one-day discrepancy is worth resolving before treating a calendar date as a precise appointment.
