PC Building Simulator turns the intricacies of assembling and maintaining a computer into the work of a small business. In career mode, players run a repair shop, taking customer requests that range from straightforward fixes to complete custom builds. The challenge includes managing expenses and earnings, so each job is both a technical task and a business decision.
The hands-on appeal comes from working with accurately modelled components from real-world manufacturers. Players can assemble a machine from the case up, choose lighting and cable colors, and fit air or water cooling, including custom water-cooling loops. Once a build is complete, it can be powered on and benchmarked in 3DMark; BIOS settings and overclocking offer another way to tune performance, with the risk of pushing too far.
Its single-player format makes the game a focused, self-paced simulation rather than a shared match or ongoing multiplayer session. It also aims to teach newcomers through step-by-step assembly guidance and explanations of what components do.
