Park Beyond casts the player as a Visioneer responsible for creating and running amusement parks. Its premise brings design and management together: a park must look distinctive, but it also needs to serve different kinds of visitors. Players can build for thrill-seeking teens, adults, or families, then refine the experience through ride placement, prices, shops, and staff decisions.
The design leans into spectacle as well as practical planning. Coasters can take on wild loops and hoops, while special modules add unusual touches; terraforming lets players reshape the landscape, and modular scenery supports custom ride environments. Heatmap tools help assess visitor enjoyment, adding a feedback layer to decisions about how the park is laid out. That mix makes Park Beyond more than a ride-building sandbox: its creative freedom sits alongside the work of tuning a functioning attraction.
Campaign Mode introduces the role through parks needing refurbishment and a rivalry with Hemlock. Sandbox Mode offers a different approach, with adjustable rules that can remove constraints such as limited money or ride research, or make expansion more demanding.
