Paradise: Musubi is a sequel to the Japanese BL suspense visual novel Paradise, developed by PIL/SLASH and written by LOVE&DESTROY. It continues the original game’s good endings through separate stories following life with Mitsugi or Matsuda, or an escape overseas with Takara. This structure makes the sequel’s premise a set of distinct aftermaths rather than a single shared continuation.
The three main characters each receive a post-happy-end story arc. Mitsugi’s continuation explores his mysterious past; with Matsuda, the characters face the island’s shadows together; and after escaping overseas with Takara, they return to Japan to challenge his family’s authority. Supporting characters Shimada and Hongou also have side stories, extending the game’s focus beyond its central trio without erasing those route-specific conflicts.
Story progression also opens additional ways to revisit the original narrative. After clearing a character’s main good-end storyline, players can return to key moments from Paradise’s plot through new perspectives, while each arc unlocks friends, colleagues, and relatives absent from the main game.
