PANICORE begins with urban explorers seeking lost treasures and forgotten places, then sends them into an abandoned building where unknown forces block their escape. The group’s curiosity becomes a survival problem: players must face the horrors inside, work through puzzles and find a way out before the monster catches them. That shift from discovery to desperate escape gives the game its central tension.
The danger is an AI-driven monster that can hear every step, so movement and concealment matter. Players can hide in cabinets, under tables or in the shadows, while searching the location for items and using them where they are needed. Multiple distinct escape routes add choices to the attempt, and the game’s hide-and-seek design makes the surrounding space part of the challenge rather than mere scenery.
PANICORE supports both solo escape and cooperative play with friends, including online co-op. Its action-adventure framing serves a focused horror scenario in which every route out must be earned.
