Pacify casts players as new hires at PAH Inc., sent to investigate a supposedly haunted house and bring back evidence of supernatural activity. Its central threat is a little girl who shifts between good and evil; when evil takes hold, she pursues the investigators through the house. The premise pairs ghost-story unease with a practical objective: find a way to pacify the danger and escape.
The house’s narrow, dark corridors make evasion central. Players can read notes for clues, search for keys, dolls, wood and matches, and try to stay quiet and out of the girl’s sight. As the game progresses, the evil becomes smarter and faster. Pacify also offers separate paranormal missions, each with its own environment, story, gameplay and monsters, giving its haunted-house setup a broader mission-based frame.
The play format ranges from solo investigation to multiplayer with up to three friends, with distinct cooperative and competitive options. In co-op, players help one another escape and can interrupt the girl when she catches someone; in PvP, interns compete for a full-time position and can push rivals down, making teamwork and obstruction part of the same eerie setup.
