OUTRIDERS casts players as an Outrider crossing Enoch, a hostile alien planet, in pursuit of a mysterious signal that may offer humanity a chance to survive. Its dark science-fiction setting spans slums and shanty towns as well as forests, mountains and desert, giving the journey a varied frontier to explore. The story also points toward Ereshkigal as a formidable test along the way.
Combat combines gunfire with violent powers, and four classes shape how characters approach a fight: the Trickster specializes in assassination, the Pyromancer in fire, the Devastator in close-range punishment and the Technomancer in ranged heavy ordnance. Build choices add another layer, with class skill trees, attribute points and mods for weapons and gear. Players can also change gear’s appearance through transmog, while higher world tiers bring harder enemies and better loot.
The game supports solo play as well as co-op for up to three players, so its player-count context includes both individual campaigns and shared sessions. Beyond the journey, Expeditions offer hand-crafted endgame levels with distinct mechanics and challenges, while The Trial of Tarya Gratar is presented as a dungeon crawl featuring brutal bosses. Together, these modes place OUTRIDERS between a narrative-led planetary adventure and build-focused combat challenges.
