Outrage is a short cyberpunk dungeon crawler about a team of vigilantes trying to bring a powerful enemy to justice. Players take on missions across the city to build their team and advance their cause, but the limited days between main story tasks make choosing what to pursue part of the challenge.
Missions offer different kinds of value: some provide gear or recruits, while others supply intel or an advantage in a later main story mission. Most also shift the team’s reputation. Helping the police or pursuing more questionable tactics can alter how the police and underground movements regard the vigilantes, and reputation determines which of three endings the story reaches. Weapons, armour and add-ons let players customize their team, while semi-random mission rewards vary between playthroughs.
The game offers Casual, Normal and Tough difficulty modes, and its Steam listing identifies it as single-player. With six vigilantes to choose from, recruiting teammates and weighing mission consequences are central to shaping each run.
