Outlaws + Handful of Missions: Remaster follows James Anderson, a gunslinging former marshal drawn into a plot of greed and corruption in the Wild West. Its western setting frames a classic first-person shooter around ground combat and a six-shooting .45 revolver, scoped .44 rifle, 10-gauge shotgun, and sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun. The remaster also lets players switch to the classic version through an in-game toggle or settings.
The campaign’s gunplay is paired with updated visuals for weapons, characters, and enemies, recreated from archived artwork to match the original’s look. High-resolution, uncompressed cutscenes preserve another part of that presentation, while modern gamepad support adds a weapon wheel, rumble, and motion or gyro controls. A vault of behind-the-scenes material gives the package a historical angle alongside its action.
Outlaws also offers cross-play multiplayer, with Deathmatch, Team Play, Capture the Flag, and the deliberately unusual Kill The Fool With The Chicken!
