Otaku’s Adventure follows a long-single otaku who, while setting out to find love, is drawn into a fantastic journey and eventually wins girls’ affection. Its adventure, indie, and RPG labels provide broad context, but the game’s own description points to a blend of story, puzzles, and varied side activities rather than a single conventional format.
Mouse controls keep the basic interaction direct: players click, drag, and drop. The storytelling is mixed with an unconventional take on TAKAGISM, a puzzle-focused design, and a collection of mini-games. The game also features different types of battles, giving its journey several kinds of interaction instead of relying on one repeated activity.
Each girl has her own story, and the game offers multiple endings to discover. After reaching some endings, players can hold down the mouse to skip certain earlier scenes quickly.
