Opaline follows Gallow, a village boy summoned by the Crusaders toward the honored calling of a True Knight, and Liza, the friend who secretly follows him rather than accept their separation. A legendary monster’s attack reveals that she may have abilities of her own. Their journey sets a personal question alongside the larger threat: whether they can help prevent the Blight from rising, and what their diverging paths mean for their relationship.
The adventure pairs visible monsters with mouse control, then distinguishes itself through two split parties, each with its own characters and inventory. Dungeons hide secret rooms, while exploration offers up to 14 relics to collect. Players can also help people and pursue sidequests, giving the journey a mix of combat encounters, discovery and optional errands rather than focusing only on Gallow and Liza’s central story.
Three difficulty modes, easy, normal and hard, let players choose a challenge suited to their preference. Its party structure still gives the solo journey two groups to follow as Gallow and Liza confront the dangers surrounding their fate.
