Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny follows Jubei Yagyu through feudal Japan in a dramatic story of revenge. Its returning swordplay is presented with HD graphics and improved controls, framing the game as a single-player action adventure built around Jubei’s journey and his allies.
Combat and difficulty options shape the experience: Hell mode ends a run after one strike, while easy weapon switching is listed among the playability improvements. The game also includes the Man in Black, Team Oni and Puzzle Phantom Realm mini games, available from the beginning, alongside a Gallery featuring more than 100 character-design sketches and a selection of all 43 original soundtrack tracks. These additions sit beside the central revenge story rather than replacing it.
An auto-save feature is also included, and Jubei’s special outfit, available under the stated condition of owning Onimusha: Warlords on Steam, changes appearance only. Together, the documented features point to a game centered on swordplay, story and optional extras for individual play.
