Ogrest is a fantasy video about the childhood of the ogre whose tears are said to have drowned the World of Twelve. Its story begins with a failed magical experiment by Otomai on a distant island, which brings a remarkably strong and hungry baby ogre into the world. Its focus is the character's early life and the events that shape his legend in WAKFU's world, rather than a playable adventure.
As Ogrest grows up, he discovers that he is unlike other children. While wandering alone, he encounters Dathura, a Sadida doll, and falls in love with her. That relationship gives the story its emotional center, connecting the fantastical premise to a personal bond rather than to a catalogue of gameplay systems.
When an evil force puts Dathura into a deep sleep, Ogrest sets out to find an antidote. The video frames this quest as the beginning of the legend that later makes Ogrest the ultimate challenge for WAKFU adventurers. WAKFU is mentioned as a separate strategic and tactical MMORPG where his story continues; that reference provides wider setting context, not evidence that this video contains playable mechanics.
