Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure blends automation with real-time strategy in a strange fantasy setting. Players explore forgotten ruins, find resources, face unusual enemies, and help a cozy village grow. Its Sparks are more than decorative companions: players put them to work carrying and crafting goods, making these small creatures central to both the factory plans and the adventures beyond home.
Workshop design revolves around routing Sparks rather than moving items on conveyor belts. Players manage Spark traffic and use logistics tools to solve puzzles involving distance and elevation; elevated Spark trains provide another way to connect locations. Quests from villagers unlock workshop buildings, and players can construct defenses to protect workshops from waves of corruption. Meanwhile, exploration spans procedurally generated worlds with distinct biomes, bringing resource gathering and encounters with unusual creatures into the same broader loop as building and logistics.
Oddsparks can be played alone or in online co-op, with support for up to four players and a host-and-join system that lets friends jump in and out of a game. Its distinctive design ties logistics puzzles to a fantasy expedition, rather than treating automation and adventuring as unrelated activities.
