No Time to Relax casts life as a competitive strategy game: players try to advance their careers, get educated and preserve their sanity while chasing victory over friends. Its “fake life simulator” premise turns familiar pressures into a contest, with work and study creating strain rather than serving as background flavor. That mix of ambition and stress gives the game its central joke and challenge.
Players can complete missions, hex their rivals and acquire a pet to gain an advantage. They can also build work experience, study, trade stocks and decorate an apartment with inexpensive or more lavish furnishings. A peaceful mode removes hexes for a less stressful approach, while seven avatars offer a choice of characters. These systems make personal progress and interference with opponents part of the same design.
The format supports solo play against a CPU, local PvP for up to four players, and online games with friends or strangers; shared-screen play and pass-and-play are also listed. Keyboard, mouse and controller support round out its flexible setup.
