Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition is a masocore action RPG set amid the devastated landscapes of Sengoku-period Japan. Players create an original protagonist and face yokai alongside a story involving military commanders of the era. Its historical setting and supernatural threats meet in a deliberately punishing combat adventure, while the Complete Edition includes the base game’s content and three expansions that explore earlier periods of Japanese history.
Combat has a supernatural turn through Yokai Shift, which lets the protagonist take powerful forms to fight formidable yokai.
