Night Raider is a single-player adventure about surviving a zombie crisis by venturing into city environments to scavenge. Its central tension comes from balancing what you can carry and how long you can stay: ammunition and supplies matter, and the game warns that running out of ammunition can leave you unable to escape alive.
Combat mixes silenced firearms and close-range weapons for quieter encounters with heavier guns when ammunition allows. Zombies are not the only threat; other survivors may try to take your supplies. Darkness is part of the design too, making night a risk to navigate and a possible advantage against human opponents. If your character dies, carried equipment and supplies are lost, while a scavenger team may offer a chance to recover lost objects.
Between expeditions, the camp provides a safer place to interact with NPCs, manage storage, trade supplies, and pursue training. In the city, an irregularly shaped backpack makes looting a matter of choosing what is worth the space, while weapon customization offers more than 60 weapons and nearly 200 modification accessories. The loop connects careful preparation at camp with tense exploration, resource decisions, and the possibility of losing what you brought along.
