Neos VR is a flexible social virtual world intended to serve several purposes at once: casual hangouts, shared games, creative work, education and collaboration. Rather than centering on a fixed campaign, it gives players tools to shape their own spaces and activities.
Creation is woven directly into play. Users can build together in real time with brushes, material guns and shape tools, then use LogiX visual scripting to add interactions or construct games and simulations. Worlds and items can be edited or remixed unless their owner has restricted them, while an inventory lets users save and spawn objects elsewhere. The result is a sandbox where making and using content are closely connected, rather than separate stages.
Neos VR supports both VR and desktop play, with the ability to switch between them without restarting. Its movement options include walking, sliding, zero gravity, spherical gravity and climbing, and the avatar system supports configurable full-body tracking. Social features such as synchronized media sharing, messaging and visiting friends’ worlds give these tools a communal setting. Its mix of creation, exploration and conversation makes activity in the game less tied to any single objective.
