NavalArt is a naval sandbox built around three roles: designer, engineer, and commander. Its central loop starts in the dock, where players assemble warships from game or community parts and adjust everything from hull shapes to small details. The design choices matter in play: armor and weapon layouts affect how a ship performs, and trials let players assess a build before taking it into combat.
Quick Battles and Operations put those designs against missions and enemy fleets, with weapons ranging from naval guns and torpedoes to aircraft and missiles. The game also has an aircraft-carrier mode with RTS-style squadron control, where altitude is a resource, plus anti-air tests and submarine mechanics. Career, mission, and Gallery modes broaden the experience, while Steam Workshop support provides access to shared ship designs and mods.
NavalArt’s appeal is not limited to commanding a finished fleet; it also invites players to shape the machines, test their choices, and view their ships up close.
