Myth of Empires: Throne is a free-to-play multiplayer sandbox set across lands inspired by Zhongzhou, Dongzhou, and Xizhou. Players begin with little in a world shaped by day-night cycles and complex ecosystems, then explore, survive, and build their power.
Progression centers on crafting, strongholds, and trained companions. More than 1,300 recipes and equipment systems support development, while NPCs, horses, and wild beasts can be raised for combat or transport. These creatures can also help guilds with exploration, warfare, and long-range expeditions, giving preparation a social dimension beyond simply gathering resources.
Warfare ranges from field battles and fortress defense to sieges using more than a hundred melee weapons, siege engines, and defensive structures. Players can coordinate troop formations, build alliances, and pursue County Battles, Fortress Battles, and cross-server expeditions. Periodic server resets return everyone to the same starting point, framing competition as a recurring struggle for dominion rather than a world whose balance is fixed forever.
