Mystery Manor begins with a vanishing: its owner, the elusive Mister X, has disappeared, leaving the mansion’s residents amid unanswered questions. You arrive as the detective tasked with investigating. The story links the manor’s rooms and their individual tales, gradually hinting at a deeper mystery that may connect every character, including your own role in the case.
The central activity is searching rooms for hidden objects, but the investigation also involves examining uncanny crime scenes, questioning unusual characters and locating clues in unexpected places. That mix gives the game a broader detective-fiction frame than a sequence of isolated searches.
