Mortal Online 2 is a massively multiplayer fantasy sandbox set in Nave, a broad world of settlements, wilderness, creatures, and resources. Its premise is built around player agency: characters can pursue trades, join factions, tame beasts, travel as adventurers, or take up outlaw roles, while player actions help shape the world’s social landscape.
Character building is classless, with four races, mixable bloodlines, customizable appearance, and skills that players can train or retrain. Professions include fishing, alchemy, butchery, and crafting arms and armor; players can also build homes, form guilds, and claim castles. Exploration is designed around a large world without fast travel, while seamless cross-server travel supports movement between visible locations. Combat is real-time and directional, and death carries substantial risk: apart from banked items, equipment and gathered resources are dropped.
Other players are not merely companions or opponents in a separate mode; they can influence trade, territorial control, danger on the road, and the broader environment. The count therefore provides a snapshot of participation in a world designed to be shaped by its inhabitants, across both cooperative and competitive play.
