Mist Survival puts players in a world shaped by a virus outbreak, where they are immune but still vulnerable to wildlife, bandits, and infected people. Food, shelter, and protection are central to staying alive. Other survivors can be helped and brought into the player’s camp, adding a community-management thread to the struggle for survival.
Its single-player PvE sandbox combines hands-on survival systems with camp development. Players can craft, build a base, manage survivors, and use generators and electrical appliances; wounds and sickness also affect the character. Exploration spans forests, villages, military camps, small towns, and hidden areas, while stealth, takedowns, driving, and small traps offer different ways to navigate danger. A day-night cycle and passing-time mechanics give routine tasks and rest a place in the game’s rhythm.
The defining threat is the dense mist, which can arrive at any time and brings events that make the world more dangerous. Infected may emerge outdoors at night or without sunshine, hunting when fog covers the area.
