Mini Airways turns air traffic control into a fast-paced management challenge. Players direct aircraft through takeoffs and landings, clear congested airspace, and try to prevent collisions. The premise is straightforward, but the pressure comes from coordinating several flights while dealing with hazards such as mountains, restricted zones, and busy landing periods.
Each completed day brings a choice of airport or airspace upgrade, including options that affect aircraft holding, turning, or the available airspace. The game also offers three distinct modes: Classic, Hardcore, and Sandbox. Hardcore removes the ability to pause during a session, while Sandbox gives players control over waypoints, props, and landing intensity. A progression system unlocks maps based on real-world airports, and custom maps and mods add room for player-made layouts and adjustments.
Mini Airways supports solo play as well as online co-op, where up to four people can manage the same airport together.
