Millennium 5 - The Battle of the Millennium closes Aldorlea’s five-episode series with Marine racing to prepare herself and her friends for a showdown in Mystrock. The setup puts an uneasy question at the heart of the adventure: can a group of peasants stand against martial artists and their devoted fans in their own arena? That looming contest gives the story its momentum, while the game frames Marine’s plan as either a bold quest or a venture at risk of collapsing.
The RPG’s party management is a defining part of that challenge: players can manage 19 playable characters and assemble a team for the battles ahead. The journey also includes 18 quests, ranging from villagers’ requests to riddles, alongside secret rooms for players who enjoy searching for hidden discoveries. Encounters can be tailored with visible or invisible monsters, and optional guiding arrows offer help with navigation. Four difficulty levels provide different challenge settings, while Jeanne, a magically gifted fairy friend, can be summoned for assistance.
Its single-player format makes this a story-led adventure to tackle at an individual pace, with party decisions, exploration and combat all serving the build-up to Mystrock. The game also includes Steam achievements, including more than 35 to unlock.
