Set 400 years before the events of Heroes V, Might & Magic: Heroes VI follows the Griffin family as angels seek to end an unfinished war with the Faceless. Their opponent is a resurrected Archangel General, whose bid to reclaim his power and dominate Ashan puts the human dynasty at the center of a story shaped by choices and betrayals.
The game combines turn-based strategy with RPG progression. Players explore large adventure maps, gather resources and build cities, then develop heroes, recruit troops and prepare for battles on dedicated maps. A Reputation system adds another layer of choice, while the series’ fantasy setting returns through the landscapes and creatures of Ashan. That mix of strategic preparation and scenario-led adventure gives the game a more considered pace than a format built around continuous action.
Its online community interface also supports posting content and competing with friends, alongside the campaign’s Griffin-dynasty storyline.
